CNC Machining Manager

Job title: CNC Machining Manager

Reports to: Foreman

Supervisory responsibilities: CNC Machinists

Summary/objective: Dienamic Tooling Systens is searching for a qualified CNC Machining Manager to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have an analytical aptitude and a strong attention to detail.

Essential functions:

• Responsible for sourcing machined metal components for the automotive/home appliance/medical industries and other areas of manufacturing
• Request RFQs and negotiate for best value
• Manage purchase orders for accuracy, delivery date, and expedite accordingly
• Liaison between the customer and supplier to resolve engineering and manufacturing questions.
• Keep project personnel informed and on task. Initiate daily communication with management (Project managers, Forman, Die makers)
• Pursue necessary information to keep all machine activities moving forward– not waiting for information.
• Verify receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered and resolvs shipments in error with suppliers.
• Identify, evaluate, select & qualify new suppliers when needed.

Required competency, education, and experience:

• Candidate must have successfully completed an apprenticeship, equivalent type of training or be able to show they have knowledge and experience as a machinist.
• Candidate must have high school or equivalent education.
• Candidate must have valid driver’s license

Preferred education and experience:

• Supervisory experience

Work environment: Manufacturing environment.

Physical demands:

• Candidate must have full use of all limbs
• Candidate must be able to read and speak English
• Candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds

Position type and expected hours of work: Full time.
